More Simple Ways to Serve This Recipe

Buffet Friendly Party Salad

If you’re looking for a great chicken salad recipe to take to a party, use this recipe (double it or triple it to fit your needs) – then layer it in a serving dish (I love this one!).

Simply spread a layer of cream cheese in the bottom of the dish, and add layers to your heart’s content.

We love refried beans, mozzarella or Monterey jack cheese, and even corn! Add an exciting dressing like chipotle ranch to bump the flavor up even more!

Buffalo Chicken Salad Sandwiches

This recipe also makes an awesome addition to any sandwich for quick and easy lunches.

Grill any dense bread, French Bread is great for this, and add some buffalo chicken, shredded lettuce, even some corn and a dollop of sour cream.

This awesome sandwich container makes this sandwich a breeze to take with you on the go. Just add some fruit or veggies on the side to round it out and you’ve got a fast, healthy, weekday lunch with hardly any added effort!

Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad

Wanna get really crazy and turn this into a hearty meal?

Turn it into Buffalo Chicken Pasta salad!

Simply mix your Buffalo Chicken salad with any cooked pasta of your choice.

I recommend any spiral or grooved pasta for this as it holds the sauce (and flavor!) much better. Penne and rotini are favorites in our house!

Just add extra Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo sauce to account for the pasta. I suggest trying an extra ¼ of a cup and increasing from there.

The possibilities for this recipe really are endless. I always make a double batch in my house because we go through it SO quickly! I’m sure it will be a hit in your house too!

MORE Tips for making chicken salad

Ranch Dressing. If you are short on time you can replace the homemade Ranch dressing with store-bought Ranch dressing. Ken’s Steakhouse Ranch dressing is a gluten-free, store-bought option that works well in a pinch.

Canned Corn. If you’re on a low-carb carb diet, omit the canned corn. You’ll save approximate 50-60 calories per serving.

If you don’t want to add all of the shredded cooked Buffalo chicken to the salad, store some of it in a glass container with the sauce.

This will keep the chicken moist and you can use it for chicken tacos or serve with a side of brown or white rice.
