Dump Cakes

While the name Dump Cake might sound odd, it's a super tasty type of dessert. Its name comes from how you make it - by "dumping" all the stuff into a baking pan.

Generally, you don't mix the ingredients (psst I sometimes do because it's easier and results in better bakes). And it often consists of one or more frozen, canned, or fresh fruit,  a delicious cake mix, and butter (although check out this dump cake made with Ginger Ale!).

This dessert is over 100 years old and known by a bunch of different names. You might have heard it called "crazy cake" or "wacky cake." No matter what you call it, it's always yummy and easy to make!
