Mascarpone Pasta with Pears

How To Make Mascarpone Cheese and Pear Pasta
- Cook pasta according to the package instructions.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and add tablespoons over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onions and garlic and sauté over medium-low heat until the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for another 30 seconds.
- Add reserved pear juice, diced pear, mascarpone cheese, and parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to simmer on medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti pasta to the sauce. Toss well. Serve with some additional grated parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces spaghetti pasta brown rice is a good gluten free option
- 1 medium sweet onion chopped
- 3 cloves fresh garlic minced, I remove the stem. It's a bit more work, but my garlic never turns bitter.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
- ½ cup mascarpone cheese
- ⅓ cup parmesan cheese grated
- 16 ounces canned pear halves reserve ¼ cup juice for the sauce, coarsly chop pears
- ½ teaspoon sweet smoked paprika
