Ingredients needed to make a No-Bake Creamy Strawberry Pie.

GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST – This pre-made crust saves time and provides a sweet, crunchy base for the pie. You can find it in the baking aisle of your grocery store.

CREAM CHEESE – I use regular cream cheese for its rich, creamy texture. Make sure it’s softened to mix smoothly with the sugar.

POWDERED SUGAR – This sugar dissolves quickly and adds a smooth sweetness to both the cream cheese filling and the whipped cream.

HEAVY CREAM – This cream, when whipped, adds lightness and volume to the filling.

STRAWBERRIES – Freshly sliced strawberries make the perfect topping, adding a burst of flavor and a pop of color.

PIE CRUST – Easy peasy for this recipe. Just look for a 9-inch Graham Cracker Crust.

OPTIONAL – Add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract to the cream cheese for an extra boost of flavor.

TOPPING – Fresh, sliced strawberries. You will find strawberries all year in pretty much every supermarket. But did you know that the peak season for strawberries is between April and June? It will vary depending on where in the country you live. Here’s a good guide to finding out when strawberries peak in your neck of the woods.

Variations and Additions

Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits. But you can change it up and use other berries, such as blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries. A mix of several fruits works well, too.

Leftovers and Storage

STORE – Keep any leftover pie covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

FREEZE – Can you freeze a this pie? The short answer is yes. You can freeze this no-bake Strawberry Cream Pie. I have never done this myself, but there’s no reason not to. The graham cracker crust, cream cheese, whipped cream, and strawberries will freeze well.

Note of caution – If you’re altering the recipe and using gelatin with your strawberry topping, you cannot freeze the pie. It’s not part of the recipe, but some readers like it.

DEFROSTING – Rather than leaving the frozen pie on the counter, let it defrost slowly in the fridge. It takes about 4-6 hours.

Serving Suggestions

WHIPPED CREAM – Add a generous dollop of freshly whipped cream on top of each slice for an extra creamy texture and a touch of sweetness that complements the strawberries.

CHOCOLATE SAUCE – Drizzle a rich chocolate sauce over the pie slices. This adds a delightful contrast to the tangy strawberries and creamy filling, making each bite even more indulgent.

VANILLA ICE CREAM – Serve the pie with a scoop of smooth vanilla ice cream. The cold, creamy ice cream pairs perfectly with the chilled pie, creating a refreshing and classic dessert experience.

MINT LEAVES – Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and a hint of fresh, herbal flavor. It not only enhances the visual appeal but also adds a refreshing element that balances the sweetness of the pie.

  1. Can I freeze this? I was wanting to make some desserts ahead of time using strawberries. This sounds perfect if it can be frozen. Thank you for your response!

I have yet to make this for Christmas Day, but I was debating to make it gluten free without any crust and make it scoopable or I could try a gluten free crust.

    1. Great question. Yes, you can, kiwi would be very cool. Or you use a combination of blueberries and strawberries and have a super easy 4th of July dessert. 🙂
