Finding gluten-free snacks to buy can be time-consuming, especially if you are new to a gluten-free life. In addition, reading and deciphering labels can be challenging.

NOTE TO READERS: I no longer have to adhere to a gluten-free diet myself. So I am no longer creating gluten-free content.
Who doesn't like a quick snack? But while healthy, homemade snacks are great, most of us don't always have the time to make everything from scratch. And sometimes, we want to pick up a bag of cookies or crisps.
Since I began living gluten-free, I've been on a mission to find gluten-free snacks. And that has been fun. But unfortunately, what has been less fun is trying to figure out labels to determine if a snack is gluten-free.
To save you some time, I've compiled 7 yummy gluten-free snacks to buy at Target.

Wow Lemon Burst Wheat & Gluten-Free Cookies
Until I find a better cookie, THIS is it! The world's best cookie. (This is not a sponsored opinion!... but if WOW wants to send some cookies our way 😉 we'd appreciate it.)
I've tried WOW Lemon Burst, WOW Key Lime, and White Chocolate Cookies.
And I was (gluten-free) cookie-heaven. They are buttery, rich, and very flavorful.
I mean, really, really good. Thinking about it now makes me want to run to our local Target.
Random Cookie Confession: The first time I bought the WOW cookies, I shared two (2) cookies with my family. And then ate the rest of the bag myself ... what can I tell you .. . I didn't even feel bad.
They are just that good!
The next time I bought them, I accidentally dropped one, and Riley (our cockapoo) snatched one right up. And he made it abundantly clear that he LOVES these cookies, too. Seriously, I'm going to mute myself talking about these cookies, but they are perfect.
Gluten-Free Coconut Macaroon Cookies
Did you know that Macaroons are initially from Italy? Traditionally, macaroons made are made with almond paste. But there is also a type of macaroon that is made from coconut.
A word of caution about macaroons.
At the beginning of my gluten-free journey, I thought all macaroons were gluten-free, but there are plenty of recipes that include flour (including the ones at Trader Joe's)
Thankfully, the Absolutely Gluten-Free Coconut Macaroons are not made with wheat flour.
Tate's Bake Shop Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
You know how the internet can be super smart. If you like this, you will also like that. I'm not a supercomputer, but I'll go on a limb.
And I guess that if you enjoy Tate's chocolate chip cookies, you'll love the gluten-free coconut crisp cookies.
Whichever one you can get your hands on. Grab a bag (or two); they are a real treat.
