Ingredients for Frozen Lemonade Pie.

FROZEN LEMONADE CONCENTRATE – Adds a vibrant, tangy flavor that contrasts beautifully with the other sweet components.

SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK – Adds a rich, creamy texture and sweetness that balances the tartness of the lemonade.

WHIPPED TOPPING – Brings a light, airy quality to the pie, making it delightfully fluffy and easy to enjoy. I used Cool Whip, but you can use any whipped topping brand.

GRAHAM CRACKER PIE CRUST – A crunchy, sweet base complements the creamy filling, adding a delightful textural contrast.

  3. Transfer the mixture to the pie shell and smooth the top.
  4. Cover and freeze for 6-8 hours.

GARNISH (optional): You can use some whipped cream to garnish the top. And for an even more festive occasion, add some lemon zest and lemon slices as well as fresh mint to help it stand out.

Planning and Leftovers

STORE – Keep any leftover pie covered in the freezer. It’ll stay good for up to a month, making it a great make-ahead dessert.

FREEZE – If you’ve made extra, you can freeze slices on a baking sheet before wrapping them individually. This way, you can enjoy a piece whenever you crave it.

REHEAT – Allow the pie to thaw for a few minutes at room temperature for easy slicing and serving.

Serving Suggestions

FRESH WHIPPED CREAM – A dollop of whipped cream on top adds a layer of decadence.

LEMON ZEST AND MINT – Garnish with fresh lemon peel and mint leaves for a burst of color and freshness.

ICED TEA – Pair with a glass of cold iced tea for the ultimate summer refreshment.

Recipe Success Tips

CONSISTENCY IS KEY – Beating the lemonade concentrate and condensed milk until smooth is crucial for a creamy texture.

FREEZE THOROUGHLY – Make sure the pie is fully frozen: allow 6-8 hours for the best texture and for easy slicing.

SERVE SLIGHTLY THAWED – Letting the pie sit for 5-10 minutes before serving makes it easier to slice and enjoy the creamy texture.

Thank you for this. I used to make this 40 years ago, and although it’s easy and the ingredient list is short, if you haven’t made it in a few decades you forget. I’ve been looking for this recipe for a few years now. This is a wonderful pie. It can be made with any frozen juice concentrate. I particularly like lime and orange.

Super simple to make. It is making it’s way to my Easter dessert table. I had about 1/2 cup filling leftover so I froze it in a custard cup. I just tasted it and it is so yummy. It is very creamy and smooth with just the right amount of lemonade flavor. I would love to try this using limeade.
