This Chicken and Stuffing Crock Pot Casserole recipe is made by layering chicken, creamy sauce, and dry stuffing mix in a slow cooker for a comforting, easy-to-make meal.
Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the Crock Pot.
Combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken stock, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a large mixing bowl and stir to combine. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
Combine the dry stuffing with melted butter in a separate bowl. Spread the mixture on top of the cream sauce.
Cook the chicken for 3-4 hours on high (*see notes). Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Slow Cooker Times
I recommend cooking the chicken on the low heat setting in your slow cooker. Cooking them low and slow makes them more flavorful and tender. ON LOW: 6 to 8 hours ON HIGH: 3 to 4 hours
Food Safety
Always make sure that the chicken is fully cooked and has reached an internal temperature of at least 165º degrees Fahrenheit.
