This Olive Garden Chicken Pasta cooks low and slow in the crockpot with a whole bottle of the famous Italian dressing, cream cheese, and Parmesan. Ten minutes of prep, a few hands-off hours, and you have a creamy, restaurant-style dinner that feeds the whole crowd.
Place the chicken in the slow cooker. Pour the dressing over the top and add the broth.
Sprinkle on the Italian seasoning, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add the Parmesan and scatter the cubed cream cheese on top.
Cook and Shred
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, until the chicken shreds easily with a fork.
During the last 20 minutes, cook the rotini 1 to 2 minutes less than the package directs. Drain.
Shred the chicken right in the pot with two forks or a hand mixer. Stir the sauce until smooth.
Finish and Serve
Add the pasta and shredded cheese. Stir, cover, and cook on low for 10 minutes, until the cheese melts.
Taste and add salt only if needed. Top with fresh basil and serve warm.
