Crockpot Sweet and Sour Chicken is an easy slow cooker dinner. Tender chicken, sweet pineapple, and three colors of bell pepper simmer in a sweet and tangy sauce, with no deep-frying. Serve it over rice for a home-cooked meal that beats takeout any night.

Add the chicken, onion, garlic, and ginger to the slow cooker. Add the tomato paste, soy sauce, corn syrup, apple cider vinegar, and white pepper.
Drain the pineapple, saving the juice. Set aside ¼ cup of the juice and the pineapple chunks. Pour the remaining juice into the slow cooker and stir.
Cook the Chicken
Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
Thicken and Serve
Whisk the cornstarch into the reserved pineapple juice until smooth. Stir the cornstarch mixture, brown sugar, pineapple chunks, and bell peppers into the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 45 to 60 minutes, until the sauce thickens and the peppers are crisp-tender. For a faster finish, cook on high for about 30 minutes.
Spoon over cooked rice and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
