  • Preheat your oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Place your pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, crimp the edges, and set aside.
  • Spread the pecans and chocolate chips on the bottom of the pie crust.
  • Whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  • Pour the filling mixture over the pecans and chocolate chips in the pie crust. Make sure the pecans are mostly submerged in the filling.
  • Bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until the pie is set. The filling should puff up slightly and have a firm yet slightly jiggly center.
  • Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing and serving, allowing the filling to set properly.
