This Big Mac Casserole is a fun twist on a classic, combining cheesy, saucy layers of ground beef and crispy tater tots with your favorite burger toppings. Its a fun and delicious meal the whole family will love.
Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it is no longer pink, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent - about 5 minutes.
Stir in the cream cheese, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the mixture is well combined and heated through. Mix in the chopped pickles and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Spread the ground beef mixture evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the ground beef mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Once the casserole is done, let it cool for a few minutes. Top with shredded lettuce, pickle chips, chopped tomatoes, a drizzle of Big Mac sauce, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. (optional)
