Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter, granulated and brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract in a large bowl with an electric mixer.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Then mix in oats and cranberries.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes .
