'Rinderrouladen'

top round beef

Spread mustard, add bacon, sliced pickles and onion

Step 2

gently shape  stuffed beef  into a roll

Step 3

use toothpicks to secure the rolls

Step 4

brown rouladen over medium-high heat on all sides

Step 5

remove rouladen, sauté onion, carrots, and celery

Step 6

add wine, broth, and seasonings to make the sauce

Step 7

add rouladen  back to the skillet,  cover with a lid, and  simmer for 1 1/2 hours

Step 8
