1tablespoon parsleyoptional, freshly chopped for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375° Fahrenheit. Spray a 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
Combine the BBQ sauce, honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper in a medium bowl. Mix well to create a smooth glaze.
Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in the greased casserole dish. Pour the glaze over the pork chops, making sure each chop is well coated.
Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil to help keep the moisture in and prevent the glaze from burning.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the pork chops are fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 145° Fahrenheit when checked with a meat thermometer.
If you desire a caramelized top, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes of baking and switch the oven to broil. Broil for 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning the glaze.
Once done, remove the pork chops from the oven and rest for a few minutes.
