Candied Carrots

Candied Carrots are tender, sweet, and versatile. Perfect for a holiday dinner or on a weeknight when time is tight.

STEP 1 

Heat olive oil, butter, honey, brown sugar, and salt in a large skillet over medium to medium-high heat.

STEP 2 

Continue to cook until the glaze thickens. Stir frequently. Once thickened add the baby carrots to the glaze. 

STEP 3

Transfer the coated carrots onto a baking sheet.  Roast for 20 minutes at 400º F or until the carrots are tender.

STEP 4

Reheat the glaze. And add the roasted carrots for a second time. Toss until well coated. Drizzle with fresh parsley.
