For wide egg noodles, 8 ounces is usually about 4 cups dry. Egg noodles are super lightweight, so the volume looks huge compared to the weight. Once they cook, you’ll end up with roughly 6 to 7 cups depending on the brand and shape.

I followed this recepie to the letter EXCEPT I added the cooked noodles to the rest of the mixture. After step 2, cook the noodles and set aside it says nothing more about adding the noodles in the rest of the steps.

Thanks for the heads-up! The noodles are in there, but I can see how they were easy to miss in the instructions. I’ll clean that up to make it clearer in the next update.
