I made this Christmas dump cake for Christmas and was a huge hit. Comments included that the apple pie filling was just perfect with the cranberry sauce. I am making this again today (mid January) for a church function. This recipe is super easy to make and is amazingly delicious!! I served it both times with whipping cream. For sure will make throughout the year. Thank you!!

This is a delicious dessert! I made it for Christmas and everyone loved it. The cinnamon cake mix works well with the apple and cranberry flavors. I can only imagine how good it would be with a scoop of vanilla ice cream 🤤.

Planning to make this for Christmas breakfast 2024 – cinnamon swirl cake mix was $$$ so I have opted for butter pecan cake mix and will add cinnamon to it. Thanks for the recipe

In reply to Staci. Cherry Pie Filling could be a good alternative for you. It's a sweet and tart option that keeps the holiday spirit alive, just without the cranberries. Or you could try our Crockpot Apple Dump Cake.
